My name is Kate Stokes and I am a Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist (OR # 28700) and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I graduated from the Lane Community College massage therapy program and specialize in Swedish or relaxing massage and trigger point therapy.
I am also a Licensed Geriatric Massage Therapist with an Advanced Certification which allows me to work with those affected by Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Diabetes, Stoke and other chronic degenerative conditions.
My journey into massage therapy began with a deep passion for caring for the elder population. I wanted to use my skills to help people feel better, improve their quality of life, and provide them with the comfort and care they deserve.
After spending years in the business world, I was ready for a change that aligned more closely with my heart’s work. I enrolled in the Lane Community College massage therapy program, where I received a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques. I then continued my education with specialized training through the Daybreak Geriatric Massage Institute to better serve the unique needs of older adults.
I’m committed to spending quality time with each client, listening to their individual needs, and providing a therapeutic experience that helps them live their best lives. It’s my privilege to help others feel their best, and I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey.
I live in Eugene, OR with my husband and two young children. You’ll find me at all the kids sporting events and soaking up the beautiful nature Oregon has to offer.
